Official gameplay: positioning, ammunition, and environmental danger all compete for each turn.

Seven criteria that matter

  • Damage type versus target resistance.
  • Minimum and maximum damage, not only critical ceiling.
  • Armor penetration and special effects.
  • Accuracy, scatter, range, and firing mode.
  • Reload AP, magazine, and ammunition supply.
  • Condition and repair-material access.
  • Faction, blueprint, or loot availability.

Test the complete loadout

A rifle's table row does not include every operator and class modifier. Equip the planned user, inspect the final displayed stats, and confirm the ammunition and repair plan before deployment.

Carry a second damage type when the contract can produce enemies that counter the primary rifle.

Frequently asked questions

What is the single strongest assault rifle?

There is no stable universal answer. Rare effects, target resistance, ammunition, operator bonuses, and patches change the result.

Should I use the rifle with the highest maximum damage?

Not automatically. Damage floor, penetration, accuracy, reload AP, firing mode, condition, and supply can matter more over a full mission.
